Chaos mood:

This concept for designing and creating this book came from the text itself, which represents how we, humans, have destroyed the land of Israel. This concept of waste and destruction guided me in every design decision in this project. With a baseline understanding of, “ I can't (and don't want to) spend anything on this project,” I was able to find many creative solutions to the dilemmas I encountered along the way.

The "thriftiness” is reflected in all aspects of the book.
I chose to use only free fonts. The text fills the page and doesn't waste any "expensive" piece of white space. The first page goes over the cover and the table of contents is woven within the text. The pages of the book were collected during the project from various people and even from the garbage.

Also in terms of production, the book was manually printed on a black-and-white Xerox printer, and I manually printed a graphic layer in screen printing to make it easier to read and highlight titles and chapters (here too, the methods were aimed at creating a single frame of silk printing). Lastly, I bound the book manually.
